For years I have been trying to help the Mauja village in Nepal, where I come from. I myself was lucky enough to be supported in my education and training. I therefore know that it is one of the most important issues in the development of poor people and therefore my country. From 2002 to 2007 I lived in the Netherlands with my wife and children. In 2004, together with my brother-in-law and my wife, I founded Kiran Fund. The education program is a form of continuous development aid, in which we continuously need the commitment and contribution of the sponsors in The Netherlands, as well as the children and their parents in Nepal. This will also create a unique bond between Nepal and The Netherlands. I see myself as the link between Nepal and the committee in the Netherlands. Because of my experience with development work and my background, I think I can make a good contribution. And I am happy to help the children in my village with their future. Since September 2007 I have been living in Nepal again. From there I work locally as an advisor for the Kiran Fund
